॥ Verse 1 ॥
रामाय रामभद्राय रामचन्द्राय वेधसे । रघुनाथाय नाथाय सीतायाः पतये नमः ॥ १ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

श्रीराम, रामभद्र, रामचंद्र, विधाता स्वरूप, रघुकुल के स्वामी और जानकी जी के प्राणवल्लभ को मेरा बारंबार नमस्कार है।

English Translation: Salutations to Rama, the auspicious Ramabhadra, the radiant Ramachandra, the supreme creator, Lord of the Raghus, and beloved consort of Sita.
॥ Verse 2 ॥
आपदामपहर्तारं दातारं सर्वसम्पदाम् । लोकाभिरामं श्रीरामं भूयो भूयो नमाम्यहम् ॥ २ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

समस्त विपत्तियों को दूर करने वाले, सब प्रकार की संपत्तियों और सुखों को देने वाले तथा संपूर्ण लोकों में परम मनोहर श्रीराम को मैं बार-बार प्रणाम करता हूँ।

English Translation: The dispeller of all adversities, the bestower of all treasures and blessings, the delight of all the worlds, to that Sri Rama I bow again and again.
॥ Verse 3 ॥
आर्तानामार्तिहन्तारं भीतानां भयनाशनम् । द्विषतां कालदण्डं तं रामचन्द्रं नमाम्यहम् ॥ ३ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

दुखियों के दुःख को हरने वाले, भयभीतों के भय का नाश करने वाले और दुष्ट शत्रुओं के लिए यमराज के कालदण्ड समान भगवान रामचंद्र को मैं नमन करता हूँ।

English Translation: Destroyer of the afflictions of the suffering, remover of fear for the frightened, and the rod of death to adversaries, to that Lord Ramachandra I bow.
॥ Verse 4 ॥
नमः कोदण्डहस्ताय सन्धीकृतशराय च । खण्डिताखिलदैत्याय रामायापन्निवारिणे ॥ ४ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

हाथ में कोदण्ड धनुष लिए, उस पर बाण चढ़ाए हुए, समस्त दैत्यों का संहार करने वाले और भक्तों के संकटों का निवारण करने वाले श्रीराम को नमस्कार है।

English Translation: Salutations to Rama, bow in hand, arrow notched, vanquisher of all demonic hordes, and redeemer from all tribulations.
॥ Verse 5 ॥
अग्रतः पृष्ठतश्चैव पार्श्वतश्च महाबलौ । आकर्णपूर्णधन्वानौ रक्षेतां रामलक्ष्मणौ ॥ ५ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

कानों तक धनुष की प्रत्यंचा खींचे हुए महाबली श्रीराम और लक्ष्मण मेरे आगे, पीछे और दोनों पावों में रहकर सर्वदा मेरी रक्षा करें।

English Translation: May the mighty heroes Rama and Lakshmana, with their bows drawn to their ears, guard me from ahead, behind, and on both flanks.
॥ Verse 6 ॥
सन्नद्धः कवची खड्गी चापबाणधरो युवा । गच्छन् ममाग्रतो नित्यं रामः पातु सलक्ष्मणः ॥ ६ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

कवच पहने, तलवार लिए, धनुष-बाण धारण किए युवा रूप में तत्पर श्रीराम और लक्ष्मण मेरे आगे-आगे चलते हुए नित्य मेरी रक्षा करें।

English Translation: Fully armored, wielding sword, bow, and arrows, may youthful Rama accompanied by Lakshmana march before me and protect me always.

  • ✦ प्रातःकाल स्नानादि से निवृत्त होकर शुद्ध श्वेत या पीले वस्त्र धारण करें।
  • ✦ पूजा स्थान में कोदंडधारी श्री राम की प्रतिमा या चित्र स्थापित कर शुद्ध घी का दीपक जलाएं।
  • ✦ रोली, अक्षत, सुगंधित पुष्प व नैवेद्य अर्पित कर आचमन करें।
  • ✦ एकाग्र चित्त होकर श्री रामचंद्र स्तुति का श्रद्धापूर्वक पाठ करें व अंत में आरती करें।
