1. Our Zero-Storage Astrological Philosophy
Most traditional astrological apps require you to create an account, verify your phone number, and store your intimate birth details on remote cloud servers. At Bhakti Ki Shakti, we reject this surveillance model. We believe spiritual introspection and astrology are deeply personal sacred matters.
When you calculate your Kundli Matching (36 Gunas), Moon Sign, Vimshottari Dasha, or Numerology Mulank, our proprietary JavaScript engine computes planetary ephemerides locally inside your browser. Our web servers never log or archive your partner’s name or birth specifics.
2. Data We Explicitly Refuse to Collect
We never ask for OTPs or SMS marketing consents.
Zero identity verification or KYC required.
All core features are complimentary without credit cards.
We never scan or access device contacts.
3. Client-Side Storage vs Server Storage
To provide a lightning-fast experience, Bhakti Ki Shakti utilizes HTML5 LocalStorage on your own device solely for:
- Saving your last selected city (e.g. New Delhi, Varanasi, Mumbai) so Panchang shows your local sunrise instantly.
- Storing your preferred reading language (Hindi or English).
- Temporarily caching holy aartis and chalisas so you can read them without network connectivity.
