॥ Verse 1 ॥
वन्दे रामं मरुत्पुत्रसमेतं रघुनन्दनम् । कौसल्यानन्दवर्धनं रावणान्तकमीश्वरम् ॥ १ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

पवनपुत्र हनुमान के साथ विराजित, रघुनंदन, माता कौसल्या का आनंद बढ़ाने वाले, रावण का संहार करने वाले देवाधिदेव श्रीराम की मैं वन्दना करता हूँ।

English Translation: I praise Lord Rama, accompanied by the son of Vayu, joy of the Raghu dynasty, enhancer of Kausalya's bliss, slayer of Ravana, and the supreme Supreme Deity.
॥ Verse 2 ॥
त्वं हि नारायणो देवः श्रीमांश्चक्रायुधः प्रभुः । एकशृङ्गो वराहस्त्वं भूतभव्यसपत्नजित् ॥ २ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

हे राम! आप ही साक्षात भगवान नारायण हैं, सुदर्शन चक्र धारण करने वाले श्रीमान प्रभु हैं। आप ही वराह रूप हैं और भूत तथा भविष्य के सभी शत्रुओं को जीतने वाले हैं।

English Translation: You are indeed the Supreme Lord Narayana, glorious wielder of the Sudarshana discus; You are the holy Boar incarnation, victor over all foes past and future.
॥ Verse 3 ॥
अक्षरं ब्रह्म सत्यं च मध्ये चान्ते च राघव । लोकानां त्वं परो धर्मो विष्वक्सेनश्चतुर्भुजः ॥ ३ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

हे राघव! आप सृष्टि के आदि, मध्य और अन्त में अविनाशी सत्य ब्रह्म हैं। आप समस्त लोकों के परम धर्म, सर्वव्यापी और चतुर्भुज भगवान हैं।

English Translation: O Raghava, You are the imperishable Brahman, Truth in the beginning, middle, and end; You are the highest Dharma of all worlds, all-pervading and four-armed.
॥ Verse 4 ॥
शार्ङ्गधन्वा हृषीकेशः पुरुषः पुरुषोत्तमः । अजितः खड्गधृग्विष्णुः कृष्णश्चैव बृहद्बलः ॥ ४ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

आप शार्ङ्ग धनुष धारण करने वाले हृषीकेश, पुरुषोत्तम, अजेय, नन्दक खड्गधारी, भगवान विष्णु और अपरिमित बलशाली श्रीकृष्ण हैं।

English Translation: Bearer of the Sharnga bow, master of senses (Hrishikesha), the Supreme Being (Purushottama), unconquered wielder of the sword, Vishnu, and of immense strength.
॥ Verse 5 ॥
सेनानीर्ग्रामणीस्त्वं च त्वं बुद्धिस्त्वं क्षमा दमः । प्रभवश्चाप्ययश्च त्वमुपेन्द्रो मधुसूदनः ॥ ५ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

आप ही सेनापति हैं, आप ही बुद्धि, क्षमा और इंद्रियसंयम हैं। सृष्टि की उत्पत्ति और लय आप ही हैं, आप ही उपेन्द्र और मधुसूदन हैं।

English Translation: You are the commander of cosmic hosts, the leader, intellect, forgiveness, and self-restraint; You are origin and dissolution, Upendra, and the slayer of Madhu.
॥ Verse 6 ॥
रावणोऽयं हतो राम त्वया लोकस्य कण्टकः । धर्मः संस्थापितः कृत्स्नः प्रसीद रघुनन्दन ॥ ६ ॥
Hindi Meaning:

हे राम! तीनों लोकों के कंटक रावण का आपने संहार किया और संपूर्ण धर्म की पुनः स्थापना की। हे रघुनंदन! हम पर प्रसन्न होइए।

English Translation: O Rama, You have eliminated Ravana, the tormentor of worlds, and re-established righteousness everywhere; be graciously pleased, O jewel of Raghu's race.

  • ✦ प्रातःकाल स्नानादि से निवृत्त होकर शुद्ध श्वेत या पीले वस्त्र धारण करें।
  • ✦ पूजा स्थान में भगवान श्री राम की प्रतिमा या चित्र स्थापित कर शुद्ध घी का दीपक जलाएं।
  • ✦ रोली, अक्षत, सुगंधित पुष्प व नैवेद्य अर्पित कर आचमन करें।
  • ✦ एकाग्र चित्त होकर ब्रह्मा देवा कृता श्रीरामा स्तुति का श्रद्धापूर्वक पाठ करें व अंत में आरती करें।
